Meanwhile, Back at the (Movie) Ranch...

Half a day's stagecoach ride south of Santa Fe is your own private wild western town. This is a full fledged movie ranch - used in movies stretching from The Man From Laramie (1955) through Butch Cassidy to Lonesome Dove and recent films. Your gang can own it long enough to create your special event, using 24 buildings on four streets, ample water and electricity, 360° views and a real western sky.

As you enter town, the streets comes to life with the smells of dinner cooking, cowboys and outlaws strolling the dirt streets, a honky-tonk piano playing while Can-Can girls dance in the saloon. A disagreement among local hotheads erupts into a blazing gunfight and not many are left standing. You can enjoy a wonderful western Bar-B-Que in the old hotel, kick up your boots to a Country and Western Band or just stroll under the stars on streets strolled by John Wayne, Robert Duvall, Henry Fonda, Jimmy Stewart, Clint Eastwood, Kevin Costner and a bevy of leading ladies.

Santa Fe Southern Railroad -

Guests will ride the rails in a private rail car, with spectacular views of the Galisteo basin, with a tended bar, live music and storytelling . . . . Then comes the surprise!

Tough as they appear, their comic routine promises to delight of all. With prior instruction, the outlaws will focus on individuals you have identified.

After arriving in at the end of the line, guests will be treated to a western style ranch barbeque served from an authentic chuck wagon. The ride back to Santa Fe gives guests the time to sit back and enjoy the wonderful New Mexico sunset.

Nightwalk Among the Ancients -
A Rare and Memorable Experience

Bandelier National Monument is the 1000 year old ancestral home of many of today's Pueblo people. offers a glimpse into ancient history and immersion in a life different from how we live today.
The gathering twilight adds new dimensions of spirituality to the long, narrow canyon. As night falls, a park ranger leads a one hour walk, with minimal lighting and talk. Ancient kivas and cliff dwellings add perspectives not available in bright sunlight. The voices and songs of the ancients seem to emerge from inanimate rock.

Dinner can be served before the walk and can consist of anything from a gourmet picnic next to the river to a full plated meal under the cottonwoods. A Native American flute player will provide haunting ambient music.

'Here, Now and Always' Event
